Vcarve Pro estimated the run time at about 15:50 mins, while my other program is about 10.min. If the program tells a machine to move at 200 inches / min along a 200 inch straight line the machine will probably take pretty close to a minute. I did a layout of a typical sign (vcarve with a 60 vbit) I make and used all the same settings, speeds, depths and size. Select a pricing option 14.99 / month with 1 month free trial 97.00 / year. The inaccuracies generally come from the acceleration / deceleration of the machine. I do, however, need the time estimates to be accurate. This can be compensated for by multiplying the times by the Scale Factor.

I installed the Trial version and learned enough to edit/produce the 3D project I had envisioned, then finally bought the upgrade just to be able to output that 3D project. Since the interface doesn't allow us access to the data, I assume it's in a config file somewhere that it could be edited in?Īny help would be appreciated VERY much by this Aspire newbie.
VECTRIC VCARVE PRO EST TIME NOT ACCURATE HOW TO
I just can't find anything telling me where or how to do this in Aspire v9. From my searching, it seems there are some multipliers that affect this calculation, but it appears the user interface in Aspire doesn't allow us to adjust them to make the calculation more accurate? I understand the concept of running an actual 2D or 3D toolpath, and accurately recording the time to cut and compare the actual to the estimated, and adjusting a multiplier to adjust the estimated to the actual.

In both apps, my toolpath time estimates to run have been WAY off.

With a WorkBee PRO CNC Kit you can manufacture functional engineering parts, toys, signs, or whatever you can imagine without leaving the workshop. The WorkBee PRO is capable of accurately cutting foams, woods, plastics or aluminum at depths greater than 25mm to 0.2mm accuracy or greater. I just upgraded to Aspire v9 from VCarve Pro 8.5. This kit does not include: MDF spoiler board, or router.
